I have a saying that I regularly share with students and staff: “It may
not be easy, but it’s going to be worth it.”
I believe this sums up much of the work we do here at SCC.
Regardless of who we are or our place in the community, we’ve all had to work for something that we now hold dear. For some, that may be mastering a talent, landing a job, raising a family, or buying a home. For others, it may be getting an
education.
As we started out our climb, it looked less like a hill and more like a mountain.
In this edition of the Vision, we see how SCC serves as a springboard to help people reach the top of that mountain.
We read about SCC’s continued investments in new and improved facilities and programs to help students pursue their passions. We celebrate chance opportunities-turned-successes, and we thank the many, many people who support the work we do every day to serve our students and communities.
The hard work is there when you choose to do it. And we pledge to be right beside you to help you every step along the way.
That’s because we’ve seen the magnificent view from the top and we want you to experience it, too.
