Sterling Lord (BJC ‘40)
Literary agent and Centennial Alumnus Sterling Lord died in September on his 102nd birthday.
For more than 60 years he was one of New York’s most successful literary agents, representing high profile political figures, the author of the Berenstain Bears children’s books, and most notably Jack Kerouac.
Lonnie Winston
Former SCC employee Lonnie Winston passed away at the age of 56. He served as head baseball coach and counselor from 1989 to 2005. He left his mark on the hearts of SCC staff and alumni.
