SCC has signed a lease with the Capitol Theater in an effort to offer students from several programs and clubs the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional event venue. Students and the community can anticipate exciting concerts and theater performances in the upcoming school year.
The Blackhawk men’s baseball team was presented with a major surprise this spring: they will now host games at Community Field, also home to the Burlington Bees. The Blackhawks ended their season at the new stadium, which is now the best NJCAA Division II community college ballpark in the nation.
The Auto Collision Lab and CNC Precision Machining Lab were completely refurbished during the 2021 summer. With an approximate price tag of just under $1 million, each area received new flooring, new painting, lighting upgrades, and updated equipment.
