Mark your calendar for the SCC Foundation’s annual Great Tastes. Although this year, you can just watch for the text alert.
The event will take place on Friday, April 12, 2019 at the Pzazz! Event Center and planners are busy adding a techy twist to the popular fete.
“We’re working to make the event more exciting and interactive as well more convenient,” explains SCC Foundation Executive Director Becky Rump.

This year patrons will register, bid on items, track status of their bids, and even pay at the end of the night using their smartphones. Rump reassures patrons that they can also use iPads that will be provided to participate, and plenty of staffers will be on hand to help everyone and make the process part of the fun.
The fun starts at 6 PM with fabulous hot and cold hors d’oeuvres, beverage tasting of dozens of wines, beers and spirits, silent and live auctions, a dessert bar, and live music.
“People really look forward to this event. We’re able to showcase some great aspects of the College and raise monies to support the Foundation’s initiatives,” says Rump.
Reserved tables for eight are $500 each and will go quickly. Individual tickets are $50 in advance, $60 at the door.
